About Niña, your specialist Sydney Newborn and Family photographer
Hi! I'm Niña (pronounced nin-ya), boss lady at Niña Gadhia Photography. Passion was never something I associated with my career when I worked in the field of finance. Since starting my own photography business, I find that passion is what drives me every day.
I love capturing those candid, genuine moments families share then creating beautiful wall art and keepsakes so that family can relive that moment every day.
I have been photographing Sydney families for over 10 years and I would love to be your family photographer.
Newborn
Those first couple of days are exciting and challenging at the same time. Life will seem to move in a blur. A newborn photography session captures all the little details you don't want to forget. Your baby's little hands and toes. How your baby is so small that their whole body can snuggle into your chest. How their little hand grips your pinky finger for comfort.
Capture this fleeting moment with beautiful photos so you can always remember this special time in your family's life.
Older babies
If you've missed out on a newborn session, don't worry, you haven't missed out on beautiful photos of your baby.
Once baby is older than 2 months they become a lot more alert and interactive. From 3 months old they like to show off their beautiful eyes, 5 months on they coo and give you baby smiles and around 7 months they learn to sit up by themselves and are usually pretty excited (and so cute to photograph) with this new learned skill.
Whatever age you choose, you can get gorgeous portraits of your little bundle of joy.
Families
Life moves fast, sometimes too fast. One day you were holding your newborn, now that newborn is off to their first day of kindergarten.
During a family portrait session it is important to me to capture genuine interactions between family members. For me, these are the photos you can't take on a phone, these are the photos you feel.
Whether you take annual photos or photos to celebrate a special milestone, whatever you do, make sure you take the photos so you have these memories forever.

How do I book with you?
Simply click on the "Enquire" button to send me a message with your details or give me a call on 0421 717 395 to book your shoot.

Do you have a studio?
Yes! I have a beautiful natural light home studio in Ryde.
All you need to do is grab your baby bag and come over. The studio is equipped with newborn nappies, bottled water, a cosy chill area and a gorgeous client closet filled with beautiful outfits.

When should I book in my newborn photo shoot?
I give a guideline of taking newborn photos when baby is around 5-14 days old, at this age they are usually quite sleepy and easier to pose, saying that, every baby is different :)
Once the baby has arrived, please get in touch, and we can talk about when to lock in your shoot date.

What do you do if my kids won't sit still for a photo?
I run after them to get the shot :)
In my experience as a professional photographer and a mum, it's always best to let kids be kids. This is when we capture their true personality and we get more genuine smiles because they are having fun.
